Scene Everything: The Joy of Sets x Radical Future London

What does your dream London look like? Join Scene Everything outside the museum entrance to build a large scale, handmade vision of the London we want to see tomorrow. Scene Everything is a multidisciplinary studio led by artist Nicholas Mortimer and designer Joseph Popper.
The Decorators: If Only a Table
10am – 2pm
The Decorators are asking you to help them build some furniture. The design collective have created a table with a difference – you’re the thing holding it up. Work with others to create a social space for sharing food, thoughts and opinions.
Juneau Projects: Music and Making workshops
11.30am – 12pm, 2.30 – 3pm, 6 – 6.30pm, 9 – 9.30pm
Juneau Projects invite you to join them for a series of pop-up workshops and post-apocalyptic music performances from the Juneau Brothers, taking place across the museum.
Ruth Beale: School for Commoners
11am – 4pm
School for Commoners aims to give people the skills they need to re-imagine elements of public space. The School offers a series of practical and discussion-based workshops, developing techniques for everyday resourcefulness… Sign up at the information desk.

Hoxton Street Monster Supplies
11am – 4pm
Hoxton Street Monster Supplies is East London’s foremost retailer of supernatural accoutrements (as well as a creative charity to help inspire kids to tell stories). They’ll be peddling their wares around the corner from the Ministry of Stories, who will be running a creative writing workshop for mini-humans on a Victorian Monster theme. Recommended age 8-12. Drop in.
Barry Sykes: An Introduction to Laughter Yoga
11-11.30am, 2-2.30pm, 5.30-6pm & 8.30-9pm
Barry Sykes invites you to join him in An Introduction to Laughter Yoga. Taking place in locations around the museum, Laughter Yoga is a sequence of gentle breathing and movement exercises for all ages utilising the power of voluntary laughter for the apparent benefit of body and mind. Also keep an eye out for Barry’s special ‘Activity (and Inactivity) Sheets’ in the museum’s cafes and bathrooms. Sign up at the information desk.
Strictly Local: Happy Hour with Company Drinks
1-2pm
Company Drinks is an art project and community-run drinks company based in Barking and Dagenham. They’ll be leading a lunch-time happy hour, and introducing their young people’s drinks range, Molecular Fizz. Sample drinks, mix flavours, and try Company’s new drink, London Urban Herbal, produced exclusively for the Museum of London.
Lady Lucy: Bureau of Portraits for Services, Gifts and Favours
2 – 5pm
Lady Lucy will run a bureau for her ongoing portrait exchange project which was most recently displayed as part of the City Now City Future season.
Come and talk to the artist about her work and research, and negotiate an exchange for either a portrait or a service, gift or favour that someone previously has offered.
Keeley & Keefe: Coach Trip
2 – 5pm
Join artist Verity-Jane Keefe and architectural historian Tom Keeley on a Coach Trip to the city limits. This Coach Trip sees the journey itself as the destination, taking a route from the centre of London to its edges, and back again. Soundtracked by readings and interrupted by local landmarks and more, passengers will travel through the landscape of the city at large; looking at the detail and value of both the journey and the city.
WAH Nails Pop Up Salon
4.30 – 8.30pm
Join WAH Nails for a free, full colour mini manicure – file, shape and paint. Places are extremely limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Disco Loco Family Party

East London’s wild and wonderful family party Disco Loco brings you 3 hours of music and dance floor shenanigans with DJ Emilia Harmony and host Chu-i plus live cabaret performances from very special guests Ginger Johnson and more.
The Quietus presents

Join The Quietus music magazine in Sackler Hall for a performance by The Fallen Women, an all-women Fall karaoke band followed by The Quietus DJs, including Quietus editor John Doran and special guests.
gal-dem: Self-Love Workshop (gal-dem.com)

Join Simran Randhawa, from the gal-dem collective, for a series of zine-making self-love workshops running throughout the day. What is self-love, how is it different to self-care and what steps can you take towards implementing more self-love in your daily life? Sign up at the information desk.
The Restart Project: Restart Party
7-9.30pm
Get help fixing anything with a battery or a plug at our Restart Party. Bring along your broken appliances and work with Restart Project volunteers to learn how to fix them. The Restart Project is a London-based social enterprise that encourages and empowers people to use their electronics longer in order to reduce waste. Please bring your electrical items.
